Job summary

Hill Country Christian School of Austin is seeking coaches to help fulfill the mission of the athletic program through mastery of the sport, personal discipline, and godly interaction with athletes, families, and staff.

The role requires biblical integration, high Christian standards, and the ability to manage conflicts in a biblically principled manner, with CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Must be a Christ-follower who upholds Hill Country Christian School of Austin’s Core Values and Statement of Faith.
• Must faithfully attend a church with beliefs aligned to the school's Statement of Faith.
• Qualified to coach the sport at the appropriate level; coaching certification preferred.
• Ability to manage conflict biblically under high-stress situations.
• Ability to integrate Scripture into the athletic experience and instill a biblical worldview.

Responsibilities

• Establish and promote high Christian standards in an athletic setting.
• Establish professional rapport with athletes and peers and maintain respect for the coaching profession.
• CPR/First Aid certified or willingness to be certified.
• Meet TAPPS/CAPPS requirements by level.
• Demonstrate mastery of coaching material and sustain confidence in athletes and parents.
