Qualifications

• Must be a Christ-follower who upholds the school’s Core Values and Statement of Faith.
• Must faithfully attend a church with beliefs aligned to the school's Statement of Faith.
• Must be qualified to coach the sport at the appropriate level; certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to manage conflict in high-stress situations in a biblical manner.
• Ability to integrate Scripture into the athletic experience to impart a biblical worldview.

Responsibilities

• Establish and promote high Christian standards in an athletic setting.
• Establish professional rapport with athletes and peers to earn respect.
• Meet TAPPS or CAPPS requirements depending on coaching level.
• Demonstrate mastery of coaching material and maintain confidence in athletes and parents.
• Coach with deference to Scripture and incorporate faith into practices, games, and activities.
• Create a positive, orderly environment conducive to learning the sport.
