Job summary

Hotel Chocolat is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service in our Alexandria store. You will welcome customers, share product knowledge, and support sales through engaging experiences and tastings. The role emphasizes brand ambassador duties, stock presentation, and adherence to health and safety standards.

Flexible schedules are offered with both part-time and full-time positions; base pay starts at $20/hour with opportunities for development and store discounts.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is not essential, but a positive attitude is important.
• Ability to work as part of a team to reach goals.
• Able to identify product types and display items effectively.
• Clear communication to understand customer needs and explain offerings.
• Willingness to learn product backgrounds, cocoa sourcing, and allergens.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer experiences through our in-store program and welcoming service.
• Answer questions and support customers to ensure a great journey.
• Be a brand ambassador and share cocoa knowledge with customers.
• Learn our product range, categories, and production basics.
• Execute stock handling, higlighting clean, present displays and manage stock.
• Maintain health, safety, and store security; assist with opening/closing when needed.
