Job summary

Hotel Chocolat is seeking a Sales Associate for our Long Beach store. You will welcome customers, deliver excellent service, and share in-depth product knowledge while representing the brand. This role may be part-time (18-24 hours) or full-time (32-40 hours) with flexible schedules and opportunities for growth.

Training includes tastings and demonstrations to enhance the customer journey. Responsibilities include stock handling, store presentation, and adherence to health, safety, and security

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is not strictly required but is valued.
• Teamwork and flexibility to support colleagues in a retail environment.
• Merchandising skills to present displays according to guidelines.
• Strong communication with customers and colleagues to understand needs.
• Willingness to learn a diverse range of products and allergens.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer experiences through welcoming service and product knowledge.
• Act as a Brand Ambassador, delivering a consistent customer experience.
• Learn product ranges, manufacturing origins, allergens, and sustainability commitments; run tastings and demonstrations.
• Receive deliveries and maintain stock in line with guidelines; ensure store presentation and hygiene.
• Follow Health & Safety and security procedures; assist with opening/closing in absence of management.
