Job summary

Cargill in Milwaukee, WI is hiring a Full-time production worker for the Food Enterprise. Shifts include 1st shift (6 AM - 2 PM) and 3rd shift (2 PM - 10 PM). Compensation is $24.50/hr.

You will cut open boxes of cocoa products, operate the plant control system, unload inbound loads, coordinate with the previous shift, and use a forklift to move materials. You’ll record data, follow GMP and safety rules, and keep production areas clean.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand production schedules.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Willingness to work 1st or 3rd shift.

Responsibilities

• Cut open boxes of cocoa liquor, cocoa butter, rework and place onto conveyor or melt station.
• Operate plant control system to move product between tanks.
• Receive and unload inbound liquor loads.
• Read schedules and coordinate with the previous shift for status.
• Work with other Melting Operators to complete tasks.
• Use FIFO principles (First Expiring, First Out / First In, First Out).
• Record production data in log sheets or computer systems.
• Notify supervisor/maintenance for mechanical or safety issues.
• Move ingredients with fork lift to dock, racks and production areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and assist with sanitation.
• Account for spills or scrap and follow GMP/safety programs.
• Other duties as assigned.
