Job summary

Barry Callebaut Manufacturing Iberica SA. seeks a Melting Associate to manage packaging and pallet removal and melting activities for liquor and butter. You will follow GMP/HACCP procedures and recordkeeping requirements while operating in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The role requires inventory control, MES/SAP data entry, forklift use, and adherence to safety guidelines. Shifts Thursday to Saturday 6am–6pm, with alternating Wednesdays, in a hot environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted regularly.
• Able to work in a hot environment.

Responsibilities

• Control cocoa liquor and cocoa butter inventory via physical counts and SAP.
• Register melting activity in MES and verify tank accuracy.
• Move pallets using forklift and manage packaging disposal.
• Dump blocks of liquor/butter into melting equipment as required.
• Maintain daily MES/SAP records and uphold GMP/HACCP standards.
