Job summary

Archdiocese of Chicago seeks a ChMS Trainer and Support Specialist to provide front-line support, training, and communication to ensure consistent use of the platform across the Archdiocese. You will onboard staff and volunteers, manage transitions, and promote best practices in policy and procedure.

The role emphasizes strong communication, instructional design, and the ability to work with diverse parish environments, remote or in-person sessions, and bilingual needs where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1-3 years in training, help desk, or application support roles.
• CRM experience.
• Strong instructional design, facilitation and presentation skills.
• Excellent communicator with patience for users of all technical abilities.
• Spanish proficiency preferred to support bilingual parishes.
• Experience with faith-based or nonprofit organizations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• User Support: serve as the point of contact for user questions and issues.
• Training Development: create and deliver guides, videos, and live sessions; remote or in-person.
• Knowledge Base Management: maintain knowledge base and ensure accuracy.
• Training & Adoption Tracking: monitor participation and adoption metrics.
• Issue Coordination: coordinate with System Administrator and Data Analyst for tracking and resolution.
• New User Orientation: assist with onboarding communications for new parish users.
• Communication Support: deliver clear, encouraging messages during transitions.
• Feedback Gathering: collect parish feedback for improvements.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
