Job summary

Excelsia Injury Care in Catonsville, MD is seeking a Hospital/Clinic Assistant to support physical therapy services. You will assist patients pre and post care, take vital signs, and document treatment notes as directed by the DC.

You will help maintain orderly treatment rooms and support office operations across locations as needed. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid certification, and about one year of experience in a setting with physical therapy or chiropractic

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• State Certification process within one year of employment.
• 1 year of office experience in physical therapy or chiropractic care.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification maintained throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients pre and post care by the DC.
• Take vital signs of patients.
• Perform physical therapy modalities as directed by the D.C.
• Document modalities performed and patient comments on progress notes.
• Maintain cleanliness of exam and treatment rooms.
• Monitor controls on physical therapy equipment.
• Assist in general office operations including filing, chart prep, answering phones, and patient registration.
• Travel to other Excelsia locations as needed to ensure coverage.
