Job summary

Excelsia Injury Care is hiring a Physical Therapy Aide to support patients before and after care, assist with modalities, and help maintain clean treatment spaces. The role involves documenting progress, coordinating with doctors, and helping with general office duties.

You will travel to other locations as needed to ensure quality patient care, assist with equipment, and contribute to a well-organized, patient-centered practice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• State certification or enrollment in an approved physical therapy course is required within one year.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification must be maintained.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to interact effectively with doctors, patients, and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients before and after care by the DC.
• Take vital signs of patients.
• Perform physical therapy modalities as directed by the DC.
• Document modalities performed and patient comments clearly.
• Maintain cleanliness of exam and treatment rooms at all times.
• Monitor controls on physical therapy equipment.
• Launder towels, gowns, and related items as required.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies.
• Assist in general office operations such as filing and patient registration.
• Travel to other locations to provide coverage as needed.
• Assist in keeping the office neat, clean and orderly.
• Perform other duties as directed.
