Job summary

Excelsia Injury Care in Hyattsville, MD is seeking a patient-focused office assistant to support clinicians in daily operations. You will assist patients, take vital signs, document progress notes, maintain rooms, and help with front desk tasks to ensure smooth clinic flow.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid certification, state certification coursework, and at least one year of experience in an office with PT or chiropractic care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• State Certification or enrollment in a course to become State Certified within one year.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification must be maintained.
• At least 1 year of experience in an office providing physical therapy and/or chiropractic care.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients pre- and post-care by the D.C.
• Take vital signs of patients.
• Document modalities performed and patient comments in progress notes.
• Maintain cleanliness of exam and treatment rooms at all times.
• Travel to other locations as needed to maintain coverage.
