Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• State Certification within one year; includes 20 observation hours and 520 clinical hours.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification must be maintained during employment.
• 1 year of office experience in physical therapy and/or chiropractic care.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients pre- and post-care as directed by the D.C.
• Take vital signs of patients.
• Perform physical therapy modalities as directed by the D.C.
• Document modalities performed and patient progress notes clearly.
• Maintain cleanliness of exam and treatment rooms at all times.
• Monitor controls on physical therapy equipment.
• Launder towels, gowns, heat pack covers, etc.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies.
• Assist in general office operations including filing, chart prep, answering phones, patient registration, posting charges, scanning, and cleaning.
• Travel to other locations as directed to cover for quality patient care.
• Keep the office neat, clean and orderly.
• Perform other duties as directed.
