Job summary

Excelsia Injury Care seeks an early-care professional to assist patients before and after care, take vital signs, and perform physical therapy modalities under the supervision of the D.C. You will document findings, maintain clean treatment areas, manage supplies, and support front-office tasks while traveling to other locations as needed to ensure quality patient care.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED and state certification/training hours, with CPR/First Aid

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• State Certification or enrollment in an approved course of study to include 20 observation hours and 520 clinical hours of in-office training to become State Certified within one year of employment.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification maintained throughout employment.
• 1 year of office experience in physical therapy and/or chiropractic care.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with doctors, patients and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients pre and post care by the D.C.
• Take vital signs of patients.
• Perform physical therapy modalities as directed by the D.C.
• Document modalities performed and patient progress notes clearly.
• Maintain cleanliness of exam and treatment rooms.
• Monitor controls on PT equipment.
• Launder towels, gowns, heat pack covers, etc.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies.
• Assist in general office operations including filing, chart prep, phones, registration, charges, scanning, cleaning.
• Travel to other locations as needed to maintain coverage for patient care.
• Keep office neat, clean and orderly.
• Perform other duties as directed.
