Job summary

NSA’s MDLAs analyze foreign language materials and provide transcription, translation, and analysis to support SIGINT missions. The LADP may be used for training with multiple operational tours across offices, including language development opportunities.

Ideal candidates will have ILR 2/2 in reading/listening for Chinese, plus at least one year in related work. Windows for review, travel as needed, and competitive DHS/DCIPS incentives apply.

Qualifications

• Degree in any field acceptable; relevant language experience required.
• ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for target language.
• 1+ year of relevant experience in language or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Analyze foreign language materials and produce reports and assessments.
• Transcribe, translate, and interpret as needed for SIGINT mission.
• Engage with partners and customers across the Intelligence Community.
• Mentor and lead other Language Analysts when applicable.
• Ensure technical health of the mission and use internal tools effectively.
