Job summary

NSA is seeking a Language Analyst to support the SIGINT mission. The role emphasizes translation, transcription, and analysis of foreign language materials, with opportunities for development through the LADP and potential direct-hire into analytic offices.

Qualifications

• ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for the target language.
• Degree/work experience mix acceptable per NSA guidelines.
• Experience in translation, transcription, or analysis is desirable.
• For ENTRY/DEVELOPMENTAL: HS diploma+4 years of relevant experience or Associate's+2 years or Bachelor’s+no experience.
• For FULL PERFORMANCE: HS diploma+7 years or Associate+5 years or Bachelor+3 years or Master+1 year or Doctoral+no experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze foreign language material including translation, transcription, and analysis.
• Conduct research and contribute to SIGINT reporting and development.
• Work with partners and customers across the Intelligence Community.
• Mentor and guide junior Language Analysts when applicable.
• Maintain high standards of language quality control and reporting.
