Job summary

NSA/CSS seeks a highly capable Language Analyst to support SIGINT missions with Chinese language expertise. Responsibilities include analyzing foreign language materials, transcribing and translating content, and delivering insights across the Intelligence Community.

Applicants should have ILR 2/2 in reading and listening for Chinese, strong communication skills, and a background in language analysis, journalism, cybersecurity, or related fields.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in reading and listening in Chinese (ILR level 2/2) required.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English and Chinese preferred.
• Experience in language analysis, translation, transcription, or related fields is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate foreign language materials for SIGINT missions.
• Engage with partners and customers across the IC to solve analytic problems.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior language analysts as needed.
