Job summary

National Security Agency is seeking MDLAs to support the SIGINT mission using foreign language skills in translation, transcription, and analysis. The LADP offers an intensive, multi-tour program across offices with formal classroom and computer-based training.

Applicants must meet ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for the target language and have relevant experience or education. The role emphasizes research, analysis, and producing insights for policymakers within the IC.

Qualifications

• Minimum language proficiency of ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for target language
• Broad educational or experiential background acceptable for NSA SIGINT or Cybersecurity mission
• Ability to perform professional work in the language (translation, transcription, analysis) or related fields

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate key foreign language information for policymakers and military leaders
• Research other cultures and their geopolitical context
• Apply new techniques to synthesize large data volumes from disparate sources
• Demonstrate understanding of communications and technology trends
• Craft written and oral assessments providing unique insights for intelligence
• Work independently and collaborate with NSA and other IC analysts
