Job summary

NSA is seeking a language analyst with strong Chinese proficiency to join its SIGINT team. The role involves translating, transcribing, and analyzing foreign language materials and collaborating with partners across the Intelligence Community.

Applicants may enter the LADP or be hired directly into an analytic mission office based on their experience and readiness. Candidates should have ILR 2/2 reading/listening in the target language and a degree in any field.

Qualifications

• A degree in any field is acceptable.
• ILR level 2/2 reading and listening in target language is required.
• Experience may include translation, transcription, or analysis within NSA SIGINT or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Analyze foreign language materials including translation, transcription, and analysis.
• Engage with partners and customers across the Intelligence Community.
• Produce written and oral assessments with analytic insights.
• Mentor or lead other language analysts as needed.
