Job summary

Are you drawn to using foreign language skills to support national security? NSA's Linguists, known as Multidisciplined Language Analysts (MDLAs), contribute to SIGINT by analyzing, transcribing, and translating key information across the IC.

Depending on skill, LADP offers an intensive three-year track with multiple tours; or direct hire into analytic missions. This role requires ILR 2/2 reading/listening in Chinese, a degree, and relevant experience in translation, analysis, or related fields.

Qualifications

• Degree in any field is acceptable.
• ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for target language.
• 1 year of relevant experience in translation, transcription, or analysis.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate key information from foreign language materials.
• Engage with partners, enablers, and customers across the IC.
• Contribute to SIGINT reporting and development through analytic work.
• Mentor and collaborate with other Language Analysts.
