Job summary

NSA's Linguists, known as Multidisciplined Language Analysts (MDLAs), are at the forefront of NSA's SIGINT mission. The LADP option offers intensive training and multiple operational tours across diverse offices.

Applicants must hold a degree in any field and have ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for the target language, with at least one year of relevant experience in translation, transcription, analysis, or related fields.

Qualifications

• Minimum ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for the target language.
• Degree in any field with relevant experience in translation/analysis or related fields.
• Experience in intelligence analysis, cybersecurity, or related domains is acceptable.
• Leadership or mentoring experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate key information for policymakers.
• Research cultures and geopolitical context relevant to NSA SIGINT mission.
• Apply new techniques to solve analytic problems with large data sets.
• Craft written and oral assessments providing insights beyond other disciplines.
• Work independently and collaborate with analysts across NSA and IC.
