Job summary

NSA is seeking skilled language analysts to join the Multidisciplined Language Analysts (MDLAs) program. Opportunities include LADP and direct hire into analytic offices, with strong emphasis on Chinese language analysis and SIGINT mission support.

Candidates should meet ILR 2/2 in reading/listening, have a degree, and be prepared for a rigorous development path, including classroom and operational tours across NSA offices nationwide.

Qualifications

• ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening in the target language.
• A degree in any field is acceptable. At least 1 year of relevant experience in language work or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Analyze foreign language materials for SIGINT purposes and produce reports.
• Transcribe and translate content for policymakers and analysts.
• Engage with partners and customers across the IC and NSA to support analytic mission.
• Mentor and collaborate with other language analysts as needed.
