Job summary

NSA’s Multidisciplined Language Analysts (MDLAs) work across the SIGINT mission, applying foreign language skills to analyze, transcribe, and translate key materials for policymakers and defense customers. Candidates join LADP or direct hire into analytic offices, with up to three operational tours and classroom training; ILR 2/2 in reading/listening is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in any field; at least one year of relevant experience in language work or intelligence analysis.
• ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for target language required.
• Experience in translation, transcription, or analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate key information for policymakers.
• Engage with partners, enablers, and customers across the Intelligence Community.
• Mentor, coach, and lead other Language Analysts.
• Ensure the technical health of the mission and contribute to reports.
