Job summary

National Security Agency (NSA) seeks Multidisciplined Language Analysts (MDLAs) to support SIGINT missions with Chinese language skills. The role involves translating, transcribing, and analyzing material, and collaborating with partners across the IC.

LADP or direct hire paths may apply for development and assignments. Applicants should have ILR 2/2 in reading/listening and a degree in any field, with additional relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum ILR level 2/2 reading and listening in target language.
• Degree in any field acceptable; relevant experience in language work or intelligence analysis is required.
• Experience in leadership or mentoring is valued.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, translate and assess foreign language materials for SIGINT mission.
• Engage with partners, enablers, and customers across the IC to accomplish missions.
• Provide written and oral assessments and contribute to reports and analytic products.
• Mentor and coach other Language Analysts and ensure quality of mission support.
