Job summary

NSA is seeking Linguists (MDLAs) to support SIGINT mission work, including language analysis, transcription, and translation for national security purposes. Roles may be in the Language Analysis Development Program (LADP) or direct hire into analytic offices.

Applicants must demonstrate ILR level 2/2 in reading/listening for the target language and possess a degree in any field. Experience in intelligence analysis or related disciplines is valued, with opportunities for growth and mentorship

Qualifications

• ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for target language
• Degree in any field accepted
• One year of relevant experience in language or related field or related domains like intelligence analysis or cybersecurity

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate key information to provide insights for policymakers and analysts
• Research cultures and geopolitical contexts relevant to NSA missions
• Apply new techniques to address analytic problems and synthesize large data sets
• Craft written and oral assessments with actionable insights
• Work independently and with NSA partners and other analysts across the Intelligence Community
