Job summary

NSA's Multidisciplined Language Analysts (MDLAs) support the SIGINT mission by translating, transcribing, and analyzing foreign language materials. MDLAs may join the Language Analysis Development Program (LADP) or be directly hired into analytic roles across mission offices.

Applicants must have ILR level 2/2 in reading/listening for Chinese, and a degree in any field; one year of relevant experience in language work or related domains is also considered.

Qualifications

• ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for the target language (Chinese).
• A degree in any field is acceptable.
• One year of relevant experience in language work (translation, transcription, analysis) or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate foreign language materials.
• Lead or participate in language analytic engagements across offices.
• Mentor and collaborate with other analysts to improve mission effectiveness.
