Job summary

NSA's Multidisciplined Language Analysts (MDLAs) are positioned to support the SIGINT mission by translating, transcribing, and analyzing foreign language materials. The LADP and direct-hire pathways offer accelerated training and varied operational tours in a dynamic intelligence environment.

Applicants must demonstrate ILR level 2/2 proficiency in reading and listening for the target language, with diverse backgrounds welcomed.

Qualifications

• ILR level 2/2 in reading and listening for target language
• Degree in any field acceptable
• 1+ year of relevant language or analytic experience
• Leadership experience welcome

Responsibilities

• Analyze, transcribe, and translate key foreign language information for SIGINT.
• Research and understand cultural and geopolitical contexts relevant to NSA missions.
• Develop and apply analytic methods to synthesize large data and disparate sources.
• Collaborate with analysts and partners across the Intelligence Community.
• Provide written and oral assessments to support mission objectives.
