Job summary

Learning Care Group in Kenosha, WI is seeking a Team Lead at a child care center to guide classrooms and support families. This role emphasizes leadership, curriculum delivery, and a nurturing environment.

You will mentor new staff, step in for Director duties when needed, and ensure compliance with licensing guidelines while delivering high-quality, daily care for children. Benefits include childcare discounts and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
• College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA, preferred.
• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care and lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Communicate and build relationships with families to promote achievement and support the center’s success.
• Mentor and train new hires and fellow teachers, creating engaging learning experiences for preschoolers.
• Take on director duties in absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Ensure daily care of every child by following licensing guidelines and company standards.
