Job summary

Child Prodigy East of Lee's Summit, MO is seeking a Full-time Floater to support daily operations in a licensed childcare center.

Qualified applicants have a high school diploma or GED and must pass all background checks; prior childcare experience is preferred. Shift is Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm with competitive pay and benefits. Training and a supportive team environment are offered.

• Support the center as needed, covering breaks and absences.
• Interact with children, parents and staff with patience and kindness.

• Lift and carry up to 40 lbs and meet physical requirements.

Compensation: $15-17/hour based on education and experience.

Main Job Responsibilities:

• Willingness to support the center as needed. This includes covering staff members’ breaks, filling in for staff members in their absences, and assuming the classroom duties of staff members.
• Demonstrate patience, kindness and positive interactions with all children, parents, and staff.
• Operate as a team player and willingness to help where needed under the director of the lead teacher.
• Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
