Job summary

Mill Creek Country Day School in Tennessee is seeking a dedicated Floater to support the classroom team and ensure quality care for children. A high school diploma or GED and the ability to pass background checks, plus prior childcare experience, are required.

The role runs Monday through Friday, 12:00pm–6:00pm, with compensation of $14–$15 per hour depending on education and experience. We offer competitive pay, paid trainings, and a generous benefits package within a family-friendly

Responsibilities

• Assist the lead teacher with all aspects of the classroom in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center.
• Implement activities that encourage each child’s growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
• Take direction, accept constructive criticism, and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary for the betterment of the quality of the program.
• Create and maintain an environment that is clean and safe for all children.
• Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
• Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.

Mill Creek Country Day School is a licensed childcare center seeking Floaters!

To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a high school diploma OR GED and the ability to pass all background checks and have previous childcare experience.

Required Shift:

Monday - Friday, 12:00pm - 6:00pm

Compensation:

$14-$15/hr., based on education and experience
