Job summary

The Growing Years is a licensed childcare center seeking an Assistant Director to lead and support program delivery and staff development. The role requires a completed bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field and prior licensed childcare leadership experience, with Level III administrator credentials.

Shift is Monday–Friday; compensation ranges from $21 to $26 per hour, depending on education and experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or relevant field required.
• Must be a Level III administrator to qualify.
• Experience in a licensed childcare facility in a leadership/administrative role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director to develop and execute ongoing activities supporting children's growth and staff development.
• Assist with enrollment activities including tours and marketing materials distribution.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and licensing checks at all times.
• Guide teachers on curriculum, lesson plans, and classroom organization.
• Build professional relationships with parents and staff.

The Growing Years is a licensed childcare center seeking an Assistant Director! This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, energetic leader in training who is passionate about early childhood education. To be QUALIFIED for this position, we require a completed bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a relevant field and previous experience working in a licensed childcare facility in a leadership, management, or administrative capacity. Applicants must be a Level III administrator in order to be qualified for the opportunity. Required Shift: Monday - Friday, ability to open or close when needed. Our Hiring Process:

Main Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the Director with developing and executing an on-going program of activities that contribute to the care, growth and development of the children and staff.
• Assist the Director with enrollment activities, including tours, distribution of marketing materials to potential families.
• Assist the Director with ensuring all State and Company Regulations are always being followed using Licensing Checks.
• Provide guidance to teachers for creative curriculum, lesson plans, and classroom organization.
• Establish professional and supportive relationships with parents and employees connected to the operation of the center.
• Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
