Job summary

La Petite Academy in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Assistant Director to lead daily operations and support teachers, families and children.

You will ensure licensing compliance, guide staff development, foster a safe, engaging learning environment, and help grow the center’s reputation and profitability.

Qualifications

• Must have leadership experience in a licensed childcare facility.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a licensed childcare center.
• Must meet state education and center requirements.
• Strong communication and team-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the school operates in compliance with company and state licensing standards.
• Foster an educational, caring and safe environment for children and families.
• Spark imagination, build self-esteem, and support daily learning activities.
• Promote a positive image of the company and community partnerships.
• Recruit, select and retain quality staff and provide mentorship.
• Help achieve center profitability through efficient operations.

Job Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.
