Job summary

A leading company is seeking a Child and Youth Program Leader to provide specialized developmental care for children and youth aged 6 weeks to 18 years. This role includes mentoring, planning activities, and ensuring compliance with Department of Defense standards. Ideal candidates will have knowledge of child development principles and be able to communicate effectively, providing guidance to a team of program assistants.

Qualifications

• Completion of DOD Standardized Module Training required.
• Must have 12 months experience at the CY-II (GSE-04) Level.
• Experience with special requirements and a strong focus on child care.

Responsibilities

• Provides care and supervision of children, ensuring a safe environment.
• Plans and implements activities based on observed needs of children.
• Mentors and trains CY Program Assistants in duties and responsibilities.

Education

Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
