The Georgia Department of Human Services, Division of Family and Children Services, seeks a Child Welfare Services Intake Specialist 3 for the statewide CICC. This day-shift role handles intake interviews, safety screenings, and eligibility assessments to determine protective actions.

You will work in a fast-paced call-center environment, collaborating with reporters, staff, and partners, with statewide travel as needed.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or three years of customer service experience or two years at lower level Child Welfare Intake role.

Responsabilidades

• Assess reports of child abuse/neglect via interviews and safety screenings.
• Determine if allegations meet definitions of abuse/neglect and assess danger level.
• Provide customer service to reporters, stakeholders, staff and partners.
• Work a specific shift schedule and meet unit goals.
• Participate in statewide travel as needed.
• Perform other professional responsibilities as assigned.
