Job summary

A community wellness organization in Holyoke is seeking a Child Watch staff member responsible for ensuring a safe and welcoming atmosphere for children aged 4 weeks to 7 years. This role involves implementing policies, supervising activities, and fostering relationships with families. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills and a passion for providing engaging activities for children. Certification in Infant/Child First Aid/CPR is required, along with the ability to work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Infant/Child First Aid/CPR certification.
• Ability to work a minimum of 2 shifts per week.
• Willingness to work one Saturday a month.
• Willingness to work two 'Parent's Night Out' events a year.
• Willingness to support other Family Programs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Implement all policies and procedures related to the Child Watch program.
• Start and end the Child Watch program on time, keeping the room ready.
• Organize and clean the room at the end of each shift.
• Interact and play with all children, remembering names and interests.
• Create and implement age-appropriate activities for engagement.
