The Florida Department of Revenue is seeking a front line manager for the Child Support Case Processing area in Daytona Beach. This SES role directs a team of six specialists and oversees coaching, training, and operational plans to optimize productivity.

The position requires internal experience within the Child Support Program, mentoring capability, and strong conflict-resolution skills to address complex situations and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in the Child Support Program.
• Experience in mentoring and staff development, including on-the-job training.
• Experience in conflict resolution and solving complex problems through interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Managing a team of 6 operational staff.
• Functioning as administrator, coach, and advisor and providing training to team members.
• Working with the Service Center Manager to develop, implement and monitor operational plans.
• Determining resource needs and shifting resources to ensure productivity.
• Analyzing existing and new business requirements to determine gaps and provide solutions.
