Job summary

YOUNGWILLIAMS INC in Topeka, KS is seeking a Child Support Specialist to deliver excellent customer service throughout the child support process. You will interview customers by telephone and in person to determine service needs and guide the next steps in case management, ensuring timely establishment and enforcement of orders.

The role requires integrity, attention to confidentiality, and the ability to work in a busy office environment using automated systems.

Qualifications

Experience in customer service or human services is preferred.
Familiarity with case management in child support or social services.
Ability to interview customers by phone and in person.

Responsibilities

Initiates locate procedures to determine customers' address, employment, and assets.
Obtains and processes information necessary for establishing the order.
Conducts interviews with customers receiving and paying support.
Responds to calls from employers, customers, and other states about cases.
Accesses state systems and online resources for relevant case information.
Prepares cases and legal/administrative documents for review by staff attorney.
Identifies remedies needed for enforcement of support orders.
Maintains confidentiality and security of case information.
Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
Regular and timely attendance.
Other duties as assigned.
