Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of related work experience preferred.
• Experience in human services, case management, or child support is preferred.
• Familiarity with an office environment and automated systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Interviews customers by telephone and in person to determine service needs and next steps in case management.
• Initiates locate procedures for customers' addresses, employment, and assets.
• Obtains and processes information necessary for establishing the order.
• Conducts interviews with customers receiving and paying support.
• Answers phones to assist customers and respond to requests.
• Prepares cases and legal/administrative documents for review by staff attorney or supervisor.
• Identifies remedies needed for enforcement of support orders.
• Files legal pleadings and other documents with court staff.
• Attends court with the assigned attorney and assists in case resolution.
