Job summary

Arizona Department of Child Safety is seeking a Clinical Care Specialist to coordinate statewide health care services for children in out-of-home care, integrating physical and behavioral health within the DCS CHP framework.

The role advances access to care, policy adherence, and system navigation for providers, guardians, and partners. A Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field plus relevant experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with assessing disposition and making independent judgments using critical thinking.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage high-volume requests.

Responsibilities

• Responds to stakeholder requests for support or care coordination to promote timely service delivery.
• Provides technical assistance and advocacy as part of the CHP System of Care team.
• Manages CHP System of Care projects and coordinates action plans.
• Keeps up-to-date with AHCCCS, DCS CHP policies, and applicable laws and standards.
• Performs additional duties as assigned related to the position.
