The role works with the Comprehensive Health Plan to improve health care outcomes, manage complex cases, and collaborate with managed care organizations, courts, and caregivers to strengthen provider networks and achieve better health results for children in DCS custody.

Key qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field
• At least two years of health care advocacy through child and family team process or child welfare systems
• Ability to secure and maintain clearance from DCS Central Registry
• Valid Arizona driver's license and ability to use vehicle for state business
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, AHCCCS policies and procedures
• Ability to manage high-volume caseloads independently with minimal direction
