JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an Executive Director of Site Reliability Engineering to guide leaders and engineers toward strategic priorities and resilient, scalable platforms.

You will champion blameless post‑mortems and an automation‑first mindset, owning the firm‑wide reliability standard and mentoring talent across distributed teams. This senior role emphasizes collaboration with executives and stakeholders to deliver mission‑critical results.

Formación

• Proven experience leading technologists to manage, anticipate, and solve complex issues firmwide.
• Ability to influence culture and champion innovation at scale.
• Experience hiring, developing, and recognizing talent in a large engineering organization.

Responsabilidades

• Manages the development of all team members by ensuring they have access to resources, sponsorship, and growth opportunities.
• Collaborates across the firm to align team members with internal mobility opportunities, strengthening both individuals and the SRE community.
• Applies a wide range of tactics and strategies to guide internal executive decisions on reliability, investment, and architecture.
• Manages multiple senior stakeholders, complex programs, and distributed teams, keeping delivery, reliability, and people outcomes in balance.
• Implements innovative methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for projects and people, raising the bar for reliability.
• Leads complex cross‑line‑of‑business initiatives spanning SRE design, scaling, resilience, and system performance.
• Champions a culture of innovation, learning, and change, normalizing blameless postmortems and continuous improvement.
• Owns the SRE technical bar within the organization: acts as Bar Raisers and defends hiring and promotion standards.
