Job summary

Brazos Valley Schools Credit Union is seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to lead the credit union's compliance and risk management programs, including AML/BSA, lending, deposits, and operations. You will serve as Compliance Officer, Compliance Committee Chairperson, and BSA Officer, guiding staff and monitoring regulatory changes.

This on-site role requires a Bachelor's degree, five years of compliance experience, two years of leadership, and strong data analysis, project management, and

Qualifications

• Five years of compliance experience required.
• Two years of leadership experience required.
• Bachelor's degree or comparable industry experience required.
• Ability to analyze data for equitable resolutions.
• Ability to manage projects through to completion.
• Proficiency in problem solving and critical thinking.
• Ability to work regular full-time hours.
• On-site work at designated location.
• Strong communication with groups of all sizes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee active coaching and performance appraisals for staff.
• Establish and maintain an ongoing compliance and risk program.
• Monitor AML/BSA compliance using systems and reports.
• Develop and implement risk evaluation framework.
• Manage the Compliance Program and update staff on changes.
• Provide leadership to Compliance employees and coordinate with Audit.
• Oversee Vendor Management and due diligence.
