Job summary

Brazos Valley Schools Credit Union is seeking a detail-oriented professional to assist members with financial transactions, account openings, and loan processes. You will help members with loan applications, processing, and closing within lending policies.

The role requires at least three years of lending experience, strong data analysis, and excellent member service. On-site work in Texas with opportunities to grow within a community-focused credit union.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of lending experience preferred.
• Ability to analyze data for equitable resolutions.
• Proficient with problem solving and critical thinking.
• Ability to work regular full-time hours and on-site.

Responsibilities

• Receives and processes member financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and issues negotiable items.
• Balances cash drawer daily and maintains security of cash drawer.
• Assists with nightly branch balancing duties and resolves discrepancies.
• Assists members with opening/closing accounts and recommends products.
• Prepares and reviews loan documents, schedules closing and funding, and verifies documentation for accuracy.
