Job summary

Credit Union of Atlanta in Atlanta, GA is seeking a BSA Compliance & Quality Control Officer to lead the credit union's BSA/AML program, process CTRs/SARs, and monitor suspicious activity. Under supervision of the President/CEO, you will implement policies, coordinate examinations, and work with Verafin and OFAC systems while ensuring data security and regulatory compliance.

This full-time role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple compliance

Qualifications

• Knowledge of BSA/AML, OFAC and USA Patriot Act regulations.
• Experience in risk/control/compliance within banking or credit unions.
• Ability to manage multiple compliance tasks and strict deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with regulatory examinations and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day BSA/AML compliance including CTRs and SARs processing.
• Identify and investigate suspicious activity using monitoring software.
• Prepare for internal/external examinations and regulator inquiries.
• Assist in reporting to regulatory agencies and Board of Directors.
• Support risk-based analyses and maintain knowledge of current regulations.
• Collaborate with exam teams and update procedures as needed.
