Job summary

LPL Financial seeks a strategic Senior Vice President and Chief Privacy Officer to design and execute the enterprise privacy program, aligning policies, governance, and technology roadmaps with regulatory expectations.

The CPO will partner across Compliance, Risk, Technology, Legal, and Operations to embed privacy into products, processes, and customer experiences while advancing responsible data stewardship and AI governance across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in privacy, legal, compliance, risk management, data protection, cybersecurity governance, operational risk, or related disciplines.
• Understanding of privacy and data protection regulations impacting financial services organizations, including GLBA, Regulation S-P, and applicable state privacy requirements.
• Experience within a broker-dealer, registered investment advisor, bank, fintech, or other highly-regulated financial services organization.
• Experience serving as Chief Privacy Officer or similar enterprise governance leader; strong interaction with regulators and audit processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously enhance LPL Financial's enterprise privacy and data protection program.
• Establish and maintain privacy governance frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures.
• Identify, assess, monitor, and report privacy-related risks across the enterprise.
• Oversee AI governance and responsible innovation within regulatory and risk frameworks.
• Serve as the primary privacy leader during regulatory examinations, audits, and inquiries.
