Job summary

LPL Financial is seeking a strategic, forward-looking Senior Vice President and Chief Privacy Officer (CPO) to design and execute the enterprise privacy program. The CPO will establish governance frameworks, lead regulatory compliance efforts, and partner with Legal, Technology, Risk, and Compliance teams to embed privacy-by-design across products and services.

Qualifications

15+ years of progressive leadership experience in privacy, legal, compliance, risk management, data protection, cybersecurity governance, or related disciplines.
Understanding of privacy and data protection regulations impacting financial services, including GLBA and Regulation S-P.
Experience in highly regulated financial services environments and with AI governance or model governance.

Responsibilities

Lead enterprise privacy and data protection program and governance frameworks.
Identify, assess, monitor, and report privacy-related risks across the enterprise.
Oversee regulatory examinations, audits, and remediation efforts related to privacy findings.
Provide leadership for AI governance and responsible innovation within the firm.
