Job summary

The Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona is seeking a Chief Philanthropy Officer to lead its resource-development and community engagement efforts. You will guide fundraising programs, donor relations, and brand strategy in partnership with the CEO and leadership team.

The role oversees major donor portfolios, grants, marketing, and communications, while driving partnership with volunteers and the board. Occasional travel to serve multiple counties may be required.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years in comprehensive development, community relations, and communications/marketing.
• Progressive leadership experience in non-profit settings and staff management.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, PR, or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead institutional advancement and resource-development strategies.
• Oversee fundraising activities including major donor programs and campaigns.
• Manage donor engagement, portfolio leadership, and board collaboration.
• Oversee public relations, marketing, grants, and data management.
• Develop leaders within the Development, Volunteer & Marketing Department.
