Job summary

GoodLife Innovations in Kansas seeks a Chief Operations Officer to lead statewide operations for adults with IDD and aging adults. You will build strong leadership teams, ensure high-quality services, and drive a mission that improves lives.

The role oversees regulatory compliance, financial performance, and strategic planning while fostering collaboration, continuous improvement, and stakeholder satisfaction across programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services or related field required; Master's preferred.
• At least 5 years of IDD-related leadership experience.
• Strong supervisory and administrative experience; travel between Kansas locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Kansas Operations including community living, day services, targeted case management, health services, and training.
• Develop leadership teams by hiring, mentoring, and supervising directors.
• Ensure regulatory compliance including licensing, audits, corrective action plans, and state/federal regulations.
• Manage budget development and financial reporting to support program sustainability.
• Drive strategic initiatives, set organizational goals, and monitor performance data for growth and improvement.
