Stone Management is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to oversee operations, distribution, supply chain, fulfillment, technology, sales operations, and customer experience. The role requires a track record of scale and hands-on leadership in a fast-growing environment.

The COO will build the structure to more than double the business within three years, with travel between the home office in New York area and the warehouse.

Qualifications

Our client is a rapidly growing consumer products distributor with a diversified go-to-market strategy spanning B2B sales teams and a digitally focused e-commerce and omnichannel operation. Its multi-channel distribution platform offers more than 20,000 SKUs, including private-label products sourced and manufactured globally.

They are a high-growth, technology-driven distribution company in an active phase of expansion. Operating on the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), the company is building the financial, operational, and people infrastructure needed to support long-term growth.

They are currently looking for a COO with responsibility across operations, distribution, supply chain, fulfillment, technology, sales operations, customer experience, and the systems and processes that hold them together. The role will own and build the structure required to more than double the business within 3 years. This is for an operator who loves turning a fast-growing, entrepreneurial company into a well-run machine.

This role is ideal for a candidate who thinks and acts like an owner, loves technology, and is a change agent.

The role will require travel both to the home office(New York area) and to the warehouse.

Requirements

10+ years of operational leadership, including senior responsibility for operations across multiple functions.

• Scale. A proven track record running and scaling the operations of a growing company of $100M+ in revenue, ideally in distribution, supply chain, logistics, e-commerce, manufacturing, or healthcare.
• Accountability. Direct ownership of operational P&L and the operating metrics.
• Leadership. Demonstrated ability to lead a leadership team, hold people accountable, and build process and structure without bureaucracy.
• Data-driven. Highly analytical and technology minded; comfortable living in an ERP and running the business from data and metrics rather than instinct.
• Disposition. A genuine operator who is energized by execution, organization, and follow-through.
