Burgess recruitment URGENTLY seeking a Matefor a40m+M/Y

This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified OOW 3000 looking to step up or a Mate from a 35m yacht . Also open to considering a strong Bosun with solid bridge experience who is ready to take the next step in their career.

Requirements& Responsibilities

• Minimum Yacht Master 200gt + 2 years’ experience as Mate on 40m MY/OOW 3000 preferred
• Charter experience essential.
• Strong knowledge of ISM, ISPS, navigation and watchkeeping.
• Excellent communication skills, well-organised and motivated and who can manage their time efficiently.
• Must be hands-on when required.
• Strong focus on teamwork and mentoring junior crew.
• Comfortable with daily, weekly, and monthly checks.
• Some OOW modules beneficial.
• Mostly on deck- not an office like role.
