Knot is building connected merchant and banking experiences, with a flagship CardSwitcher product that updates cards on file across merchant accounts. The team in NYC seeks a Chief of Staff to partner with the CEO and CTO, orchestrating strategic initiatives, executive communication, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Chief of Staff or similar strategic/operational role in a high-growth tech startup.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver results with minimal direction.
• Proactive, adaptive, and relentlessly organized with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Direct collaboration with the CEO and CTO to execute tasks from day-to-day to strategic initiatives.
• Attend CEO meetings, calls, and events, sometimes in the CEO's stead.
• Extend the CEO’s reach and clarity across the company.
• Coordinate with executives, employees, customers, investors, and candidates via email, calendar, and Slack.
• Plan in-office events and manage CEO appearances at conferences in NYC and across the country.
• Lead day-to-day financial operations and participate in fundraising-related projects.
