Job summary

Lance Inc. in San Francisco is seeking a Chief of Staff to work directly with the CEO and help scale operations across admin, legal, operations, compliance, and finance. You will own high-impact projects and drive strategic initiatives with an execution-first mindset.

You will lead the operating rhythm, build scalable processes, manage vendor relationships, and leverage AI to automate repetitive work while collaborating across product, Ops and GTM teams.

Qualifications

Degree from a strong school.
Strong operator with initiative and ownership.
Management experience and people development.
Builder of processes in ambiguity.
Excellent communication and sound judgment.
Experience using AI tools to automate workflows.

Responsibilities

Be the CEO's right hand; run operating rhythm and prep high-stakes meetings.
Own operations and admin; build systems and events for a fast-growing company.
Run legal and compliance; manage contracts and security reviews.
Own finance and vendors; handle billing, payments, bookkeeping, and insurance.
Automate with AI; turn ad-hoc work into repeatable processes.
Drive cross-functional projects across product, ops and go-to-market.
